Alasdair Fraser

Originally from Aberdeen, I’ve called the south home since 2007. I’ve always had a passion for sports, from captaining Scotland’s youth hockey team to completing the Ironman UK triathlon in 2009. My journey eventually led me to road cycling, where I proudly represented Great Britain at the UCI World Championship road race in 2023 and 2024. I ride for Southborough & District Wheelers and also help coach the youth section.

But despite years of experience and hard work, I reached a plateau. Like many, I was stuck in a routine—training hard but not seeing the progress I wanted.

Before my GB debut, I sought the expertise of a personal trainer. That decision transformed everything. I learned to shift away from relying solely on brute effort and determination, which unlocked a whole new level of performance. I embraced bodyweight training, fueled my activity with a plant-based diet and prioritised rest & sleep. The results were remarkable—not just physically, but mentally too giving me a renewed energy and excitement towards my health and wellbeing.

This experience inspired me to become a personal trainer, and now I apply these same principles to help my clients achieve their goals. Whether you're just beginning your fitness journey or striving to break through a plateau, I’ll guide you with a positive, encouraging approach, tailored to unlock your full potential.

I have also completed ‘Continual Professional Development’ courses in:

  • Understanding nutrition through the menopause

  • Antenatal core training

  • ICG level 2 spin instructor
